Hi! I'm Sara, and I understand the unique challenges you face as educators when it comes to toy safety in learning environments. With my background in special education and years working in public and private schools in Croatia, Latvia, Spain and the UK, I've navigated the same situations you encounter daily - supervision of the big classes of children, managing shared resources safely, and creating engaging play spaces despite limited budgets and time. My PhD research and classroom experience have given me practical insights into what actually works in educational settings, not just what looks good in theory. Through ToyScope, I share evidence-based approaches that are straightforward to implement and maintain in real educational settings. I look forward to connecting with you and addressing the specific toy safety concerns in your learning spaces!

Who is this webinar for?

This webinar is specifically designed for educators working in early years settings, primary classrooms, and after-school clubs. We've created separate events for therapists and parents to address their unique challenges.

Will this cover the latest toy safety regulations?

Yes, the webinar includes up-to-date information on current UK toy safety standards and Ofsted requirements for educational settings. Due to time limitations, information will not be comprehensive and further reading is advised.

What if I cannot attend the live sesion?

All registered participants will receive access to the main presentation recording for 30 days after the event. Recording will include the main presentation only, I will not be recording the Q&A session.

Do I need any technology or preparation?

You will just need a device with internet access and Google Meets installed or accessible via browser. No special materials are required, though having a notepad might be useful.

How interactive is the session?

The first 60 minutes will be presentation-based with some interactive elements. The final 30 minutes are dedicated to your questions and specific challenges. You can submit questions anonymously during the session.

Is this really free?

Yes, it is 100% free. I believe that learning about safety must be accessible to everyone because it is essential, not a luxury. This webinar is purely educational and will not include any promotional or sales activities.
